The Quadrop System from Terralift is a water additive technology designed to maximise the performance of managed turf.

Quadrop will successfully boost water value, re-balance soil chemistry and supply key plant nutrients for:

QUALITY COLOUR

Quadrop provides foliar amounts of Nitrogen, Magnesium and humic acids to stimulate photosynthesis for natural, vibrant greening. As well as maintaining colour, Quadrop can be used to heighten colour ahead of key events.

REGULATED GRASS GROWTH

Quadrop regulates growth for wear tolerance, upright grass stance and increased sward density. The actions of Quadrop in the root-zone, water and grass leaf dictate growth by avoiding nitrogen only uptake and replacing with balanced nutrient uptake.

In the root-zone Quadrop releases bound up elements and minerals from the soil and irrigation water for use by the plant. The air-to-water balance is re-established as Quadrop breaks down existing bicarbonate deposits in the soil and neutralises the source of new deposits from the water before irrigating.

Suspended solids and top-dressing fines are mobilised, allowing them to wash through the rootzone. This more open profile ensures that soil chemistry controls the uptake of nutrients rather than the excess in-solution availability found in water logged profiles.

PRE-STRESS CONDITIONING

With regular application, Quadrop creates a healthier, thicker sward with improved rootmass extension that will better cope with stress conditions such as heavy play, excessive rain, hot days, water shortages and disease pressure.

Many Quadrop users find they can use Quadrop as a cultural tool to reduce plant stress at key times.

PROLONGED FERTILISER EFFECT

Quadrop will prolong the effect of applied fertilisers for enhanced turf response through better water quality.

Each formulation contains key nutrients and releases soil bound elements and minerals from the water source. This trickle feed of nutrition compliments fertiliser applications for more consistent growth.

Quadrop creates a more open profile to ensure that as applied nutrients solubilise they are carried below the surface for uptake by the roots rather than accumulating near the surface.

Quadrop formulae contain added humic and amino acids to boost CEC. Quadrop increases granular fertiliser response when applied after fertilisation.

IMPROVED ROOTZONE POROSITY

Untreated | Bicarbonate irrigation water blocks the soil profile slowing down percolation causing water to accumulate on the surface and runoff.

Treated |  Quadrop treated irrigation water will penetrate the soil surface more readily and open-up pore spaces for better percolation.

Quadrop formulae help maintain optimum root-zone porosity by mobilising suspended solids and top-dressing fines and allowing them to wash through the root-zone.

Surface capping and compaction are reduced as beneficial microbe activity is supported to clean up surface organic matter - the main contributor to capping, compaction and thatch build-up as it combines with surface silts and clays.

Water penetration and root-zone saturation is quickened to reduce watering time and minimise wetting agent needs.

Water sources corrected with Quadrop

Lake, dam and river waters usually contain suspended solids that clog soil profiles. Quadrop will open the profile to allow suspended solids to wash through.

Bore waters can be high in bicarbonate and locked up minerals. Quadrop will treat the water so it is fit for purpose and trigger plant availability of those locked up minerals.

Mains water can be high in bicarbonate or have a nutrient stripping low pH. Quadrop will reduce bicarbonate and add key nutrients to support plant nutrient needs.

Grey water sources usually contain suspended solids (silts/clays/organic matter) and undesirable minerals (e.g. Sodium / Lead / Cadmium). Quadrop will ensure a more open profile to limit the accumulation of these unwanted solids and minerals in the soil.
